Here is some stuff about me, in case you're interested.

Hi! I'm Emma Blake Handler. Who are you?

I moved to New York in 2018 for a Costume Internship at The Public Theater, and worked there, both in the costume shop as a stitcher and backstage as part of the wardrobe crew, for five years. I'm very grateful to have been part of the Shakespeare In The Park wardrobe team. I've also been lucky to work as a swing at The Play That Goes Wrong Off-Broadway, as well as at other off-broadway shows at Classic Stage Company and Second Stage.

I made my Broadway debut as a wardrobe swing at  & Juliet, working as a dresser, stitcher, and dayworker. Im very grateful to have a dream of mine come true on such a joyful and witty musical. I have also been lucky enough to work as a swing on SUFFS and Hadestown on Broadway, as well worked on costumes for Lempicka and Swept Away.

On my off-time I paint and draw and write, obsess over television, and have a fascination with science fiction.

I grew up in Florida (yes there were alligators) and studied at Florida State University. While at FSU I worked in the School of Theatre's costume shop. I was also part of the No Bear's Allowed improv comedy team. After graduating in Spring of 2017, I spent a year as the Costume/Wardrobe Apprentice at the Orlando Shakespeare Theater.

I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has supported me and helped me get to New York, where I have wanted to live since I was very little. You dudes rock. Keep rocking.
